At first, I found this tea a little bit woody. I tasted a lot of 'thickness' if you will. It had an abundance of body. However, after it had cooled down, I really enjoyed the jammy-ness of the berries. While I don't normally enjoy hibiscus much, it was not overly floral here, which allowed me to enjoy the tea in its wholeness. A lovely, bright, jammy tea that will be luscious over ice this summer! I would have handed out my first five star tea review had it not been for the initial heaviness in the first sips.
